I don't think is a Disney production. One thing hard to fake is the shadows. On moon there is no atmosphere unlike here on earth, lights don't pitch, there's no gradient on shadows, as you could see on the footage. And if you think its a fake don't you think the Russians wouldn't know it? They sure want to exploit this weakness if its true what you said, because back then the tech race is on and we're in the middle of cold war
